We always talk about Chinese food, tasty, abundant and with spices. We talk about the variety, the styles and certain main avocados that we cannot stop trying while there. But what about drinks? What do the Chinese drink? Or rather, what can we tourists drink in China?
One thing to keep in mind: DO NOT drink tap water. It is not drinking water, at least for us since our body is not used to the impure that it may have. It is best to boil it, and a lot, before drinking it. I recommend this option if you are renting an apartment, for example, if you do not always have to resort to bottled water. Even to brush your teeth! In the hostel or hotel you probably have bottled water in the minibar or a water dispenser.
The Chinese are not in the habit of drinking coffee like we Westerners do. They prefer tea and drink it anywhere and at any time. But that does not mean that you cannot find coffee, in supermarkets there are more and more options and in the streets of the main cities there are more and more coffee shops as well.
