Clandestina, a modern store to buy in Havana

Clandestine Store

When my in-laws went on vacation to Cuba they did not bring many gifts and they lamented because they did not find good stores. Outside of the cigars or the rum bottles they didn't bring much more or more varied things. A shame

So that you notice the same thing, I recommend that you take a tour of the photography store: it is called Clandestine and has a good variety of clothes, hats and fashionable things. Clandestine Design Store is the full name of this store that It is in Old Havana, near the Plaza del Cristo, with Café Dandy's on the corner.

Clandestina is one of the newest stores in this part of the Cuban capital since opened its doors last February. Its owners are two young women, Leire Fernández and Idania del Río. The store was born as an art outlet store but little by little it grew and other types of items began to be sold, especially for younger locals and tourists, wanting something different. Things that could be worn outside of Cuba and proudly say where they had been bought.

Skirts, sweatshirts, bags, hats, keychains, mugs, costume jewelery, a little of everything. That's what you find around here. The store is then located on Calle Villehas, 403, between Muralla and Teniente Rey. It is open every day between 10 in the morning and 9 in the evening and has its own website so check it out before you go.
