English pubs

There is a big difference between the idea that a Spaniard has about a «Ads»And the idea that an Englishman has. For the Spanish, a pub is a place to go for a drink, listen to music, dance and maybe play pool. For the English it is not like that. Its pubs are places to go for a beer and have lunch or dinner. This is one of the differences. In England you can eat in a pub, but it is not like in a bar since you are not served directly at the table. You can try to sit at the table, but you will see that no one is going to attend. This is because it is you who has to go to the bar and order what you want to drink.

Another thing that catches our attention is their schedules. In Spain pubs close at 2 or 3 in the morning, but in England pubs are not places to stay up late. Most close at 11 pm, as they always have, although a recent law allows them to close somewhat later.

Finally, related to closing time, we find the time of the last drink. Ten minutes before 11 o'clock at night, a Bell that warns them that it is time to order the last drink, since nothing else will be served afterwards.

All of these are things to keep in mind before going to an English pub, since their customs are not the same as ours.
