Diving and snorkelling in Greece

Greece is a great holiday destination and although the crisis has put the industry somewhat in check, due to work stoppages, demonstrations and strikes that affect transport or the supply of food and fuel, it is still one of the great destinations in Europe. The beaches and their blue guides are one of its most beautiful treasures. Think that between its continental coast and the islands there are more than 15 thousand kilometers of coastline and that the diversity of its beaches adds to the diversity and beauty of its seabed.

Therefore, here one can dive and snorkel. The waters of Greece are characterized by being transparent up to many meters, in summer it can reach up to 30 meters, and they are also characterized by their warmth, which in the summer reaches 27 ºC. Under the waters many varied fish and a wonderful flora hide so many sites have their own diving schools, for example the islands of Rhodes, Santorini, Crete y Mikonos. These islands are the best for diving.

Another of the great underwater destinations is the so-called Island of the Sponges, in Kalimnos, between Leros and Kos.
