Oscar Wilde He was a great Irish writer and one of the most prominent playwrights in London during the Victorian era. He was born in 1854 in the capital of Ireland, Dublin and your home in the city can be visited. This house is located on a corner and its external facade is very well preserved thanks to the renovation work it has undergone.
It is a residence of Georgian architecture and the Wilde family lived here until 1876. In 1994 the American Collgee Dublin took possession of the residence and as a result of its restoration work the first floor has been like new and it can be rented to business meetings or private activities, art exhibitions, sculpture and other cultural activities.
Even American College Dublin students usually take their classes on the top two floors of the house. Oscar Wilde's house is then open all year round and can be visited on guided tours of a minimum of 25 people by reservation. The price of the ticket is used for its constant maintenance and is 8 euros.
