We must mention that this Windsor castle is located on one side of the River Thames, practically about 32 km towards the East side of the city of London; the castle takes the name of the city where it is located, and the presence of a large number of historical events that have happened by itself can be noted.

In the first instance we must mention that this Windsor Castle was built in the year 1080 by William the conqueror, who decided that this building was part of the ring of fortifications that surrounded the entire city of London, something that can be considered as a historical anecdote in favor of the tourism of the city. Later, Eduardo II modified the Norman style that the castle had towards a Gothic palace, also founding the "College of St. George" in Lower Ward. The history of this castle continued with Eduardo IV, who also later built St. George's Chapel, being able to notice the presence of a small gate in the Lower Ward that was added by Henry VIII.
