If you ever tried to find out what life was like for those sovereigns who lived in great opulence in the VXII century, then you just have to visit the Palace of Versailles and admire all the great work that is in it, since since its inception in which It was acquired by Lius XIII, it became the palace of the kings and the most unimaginable elegance that a person can imagine.
Among some of the most important personalities that the Palace of Versailles housed in its enclosure are King Louis XIV, Marie Antoinette, the Marquis de Lafayette, among others. The Palace of Versailles became the royal residence for a long time, but it was not until the French Revolution that the place was confiscated with all its belongings, becoming a museum, which is until today and sometimes also serving of political headquarters.
The immensity of the palace is impressive, as it consists of 700 rooms and more than 2000 windows, its exteriors contemplate huge gardens, the Marie Antoinette room, the Swiss Lake and the Grand Canal. Inside, one of its most important rooms is the Hall of Mirrors, a place that served as a passage between the Louis XIV room and the Chapel. In this place the treaty that ended the First World War was signed.
Another attraction is in the Queen's Chamber, which has a gold-based decorum and it is almost impossible to see every detail due to the dazzling room. Something anecdotal is the secret door, which is the one through which Marie Antoinette escaped and which is almost invisible due to all this decorum.
