The truth is that many films have been filmed in Australia, a beautiful country, so let's see some because surely many of you do not know that they were shot here and that the beautiful landscapes you saw in the cinema or on your home TV come from this wonderful land. Let's meet the first part of this list of movies filmed in Australia:

. babe. yes, the piggy movie. It was filmed in 1995 in Robertson, New South Wales state.

. jindabyne, a 2006 thriller starring Laura Linney. It was filmed in Jindabyne, New South Wales again. This corner of the country is a great place to ski in winter as it is close to the Kosxiusko National Park.

. The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. This is a 1994 film starring drag queens they march down the desert route touching Sidney, Silverton, Broken Hill, Cooper Pedy, Kings Canyon and Alice Springs.

. Muriel's Marriage, 1984. Australian actress Toni Colette is the star of this film shot on the East Coast, Sydney, Surfers Paradise, Hamilton Island and the Gold Coast.

. December Boys, 2007. It is not a very famous movie but Harry Potter acts in it so you may have seen it. Kangaroo Island is shown a lot.
