Kaiserschmarrn, the best Austrian snack

One of the most popular desserts in the Austrian gastronomy and one whose recipe you can easily copy, wherever you are in the world, is the Kaiserschmarrn Recipe. This dessert is not new since it was known in the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire so in addition, you will be cooking something with centuries of life. And it's tasty and sweet, something that counts.

The kaiserschmarrn is made up of sweet crepes and thicker and with a dough with more eggs than usual when preparing pancakes o pancakes as they are also called in some parts of the Castilian world. Recipe:

. 3 eggs

100 grams of flour

. 1 teaspoon of sugar

. half a teaspoon of vanilla essence

. half a teaspoon of salt

. 1/8 liter of milk

. 100 g of butter

. raisins

Mix the yolks, flour, sugar, vanilla, salt and milk. Set aside the whites to snow and then add them slowly. You add the melted butter, add raisins and cook the crepes from one side to the other. If you want you can cut them and fry them again, but when serving them remember to sprinkle them with icing sugar and some sweet sauce.
