Who said that in Egypt no good desserts and sweet dishes? Next we will know some of the most famous desserts of this enigmatic country:
- Baklava: It is the dessert par excellence of all the Arab people and a large part of Europe. It is a filo paste that is filled with a stew made from delicious nuts, with a deep flavor and that is served in very small portions.
- basbusa: It is a sponge cake made with semolina, vanilla and coconut. It can be found both to finish a meal and to have a snack. We can find this typical dessert in all restaurants, although it has also spread widely in various areas of the Mediterranean, having great acceptance.
- beff stew typical of Hungary: Goulash is another typical dessert but its preparation is a bit more complex. That does not mean that it is difficult to find. It is also one of the most demanded and recommended by tourists. Its presentation consists of a couple of puff pastry wafers with an exquisite nut paste filling. It is served cold.
- Maskine: It is a quick dessert. It is made from nuts, sugar and honey. It is generally eaten cold and is occasionally accompanied by ice cream or yogurt.
