How to get to Senda del Oso

As we already know, this place is located in Asturias, but starting from this, we are going to know a little more where it is located and how we can get there if we start from the most common cities.

From Oviedo

If your departure is from Oviedo, then you must take the A-63 towards Grado. Then, exit 9 towards N-634 Trubia. Now we have to take a new exit towards Santo Adriano - Proaza. When we get to Caranga debajo, we turn off towards San Martín de Teverga. When we see the town Entrago we will go to the right until we see the parking lot that is the one that dictates the beginning of the Path.

From Gijón

It may be that your starting point is Gijón, then you will take the A-66 towards Oviedo. Then the A-63 towards Grado. Exit number 9 takes you to the N-634 Trubia. Once here, again than the previous thing we mentioned, that is, towards Santo Adriano - Proaza.

From Santander

First you will have to take the highway towards Oviedo A8. instead take the A-63 towards Bachelor's Degree, as we have commented in the previous sections.

What is the Bear Path in Asturias

It is a path or pedestrian path. In this case, it has paved sections that cross both the forests and the mountains. It is made on an old railway line where many years ago, the mining train passed that made a tour of the Trubia river valley. This is what we will do, but without the train. Third section

Much shorter than the previous one and it also starts from caranga in Proaza towards the Valdemurio reservoir. After passing Peñas Juntas, we take the left side and after Caranga debajo, you will continue your path parallel to the road. Another area where the beauty of the place is not far behind.
