As you well know, the India it is a country of mysterious features and extensive culture. As we have mentioned on some past occasion, this country offered the whole world a series of cultural and scientific contributions. On this occasion we wanted to discover the most outstanding scientists within its history.
Let's start by mentioning the great teacher of mathematics, algebra, calculus and trigonometry. We refer to sridharacharya, a man who lived during the XNUMXth century and who was noted for his quadratic equations.
In the area of medicine we must mention Sushruta Samhita, a physicist from the XNUMXth century BC, who lived in Varanasi and who was already performing surgeries such as caesarean sections, and even plastic and brain surgeries at that time. As if that were not enough, he also had studies in alternative medicine, Ayurveda, physiology, embryology, metabolism, genetics and digestion.
There were also many scholars who dedicated themselves to navigation and to make advances in this area; but also contributions in relation to metals, especially tin.
