In Toluca, we visit the Nestlé Chocolate Museum

Located on the side of the highway, at the entrance to Toluca and at the end of an industrial facility that went unnoticed despite its three hundred meters long, it rises from Nestlé Chocolate Museum.

Arising from the need to create an internal passage so that visitors could observe the production of their favorite chocolate, a group of experts thought of creating a larger project for the company and thus the first chocolate museum in Mexico It has a spectacular zigzagging facade that rises from the garden level and becomes the entrance to a magical world.

The construction raised above ground level, houses a reception area, a theater that prepares the youngest visitors to enter the world of chocolate, the passage to the tunnel that circulates over the production areas inside the factory and the store with the factory's products and gadgets, at the end of the tour.

A rear staircase seems to engulf passersby through a faceted and trumpeted prism and the unfolded triangles of the kaleidoscope accentuate the difference in planes offering a particular and novel perspective. The lobby welcomes groups with sofas in the shape of chocolate bars to later lead them into the theater where they will be virtually introduced to the liquid world of sweets. From then on, they will begin a tour of corridors, tunnels and viewpoints over the factory rooms.

This unique museum, an icon of the Toluca suburbs, was conceived by the creativity of Michel Rojkind and proposes a route that invites you to a true feast of the senses.

Today December 09, 2010 I went with the Juan Sebastian Bach kindergarten group to the chocolate museum and my experience was fantastic because I felt like a girl and I would like to go back and find new things, for example small machinery so that the children can make some chocolates

I am very happy to visit the museum and I would like to return and learn more, but above all to use a machine of course with advice and that the children could also work one day in the factory as in a mini nestle chocolate factory, just like when the architect says he returned. the mini factory would be fun

The last week of February I am going to receive from Guatemala a group of 10 family members; They told me that they are interested in seeing the Museum but I had no idea that it existed. Can you please inform me at what time you can visit, where it is and if you have to make an appointment before going. Some architects come within the group, and the structure surely caught their attention. Thank you very much and I hope your answer.

We want to know what we have to send to visit their facilities in the chocolate museum, we are from an elementary school with approximately 800 students We also need to know how many students are allowed to enter and the dates available, also if a trade can be done for that visit and who should be addressed and if you can inform us about requesting support for your products for the feast of Children's Day. For your attention thanks
