The best ice cream parlors in Milan

Music ice cream shop

Italy is, among many other things, one of the best places to try ice cream. The variety of them is enormous, although I undoubtedly prefer artisanal ones, those of a lifetime. In Milan there are precisely many ice cream parlors that are essential visits, especially in summer. Many are too well known and touristy, while there are others that only the Milanese know. We want to take you to those today.

Starting with the Paganelli ice cream shop, located on the Via Adda. A street full of offices and with little traffic but that has this gem of ice cream. Fresh flavors (some are prepared according to seasonal availability) and made in the old way. We continue with Misciologist, in Via Benedetto, a popular neighborhood ice cream parlor barely known in the city. There is a great variety of ice creams with glasses, cones, tubs, etc ...

In Via de Amicis we have Italian chocolates, one of those ice cream parlors that always have a huge queue at the door. Already in Naviglio Pavese it is likely that you will go somewhat unnoticed The Ice Cream Shop, a small ice cream parlor that is quite wonderful. Another small place, opened just a couple of years ago, is I Gelati di Nanina, with one of the best fruit ice creams in Milan.

For many Milanese the best artisan ice cream is prepared in Leonardo's Botteghe, located in Via Solari and Via Borsieri, and in La Bottega del Gelato of Via Pergolesi. In both, at any time of the year you will find ice cream for all tastes and flavors. Last we have Giusto Gelato in Via San Gregorio, The Ultimate in Ice Cream in Via Castelvetro and the Music ice cream shop in Via Pestalozzi. These last three are better known, but they have a long tradition that also makes them magnificent.
