The best pizzerias in Milan

Dry

The Italian newspaper that is published in Milan, The Corriere della Sera, has announced in its gastronomy section the ten best pizzerias in the Lombard capital. Ten places that you should keep in mind if you plan to visit the city and want to try the best pizza. Obviously it is a subjective classification, since about tastes, as is usually said, there is nothing written. But at least it does give us a series of clues to choose from.

First of all we start with Dry, located in Via Solferino 33. A place run by local chef Andrea Berton and where you can eat the best Neapolitan pizza in Milan. Selection continues with Sibilla, on Vía Mercato 14, one of the most famous Neapolitan pizzerias in the city. The pizzas are not very big, but they taste great. Here is a classic, Maruzzella, located in Piazza Oberdan 3, a historic Neapolitan pizzeria open since 1978. The Milanese say that its dough is the best in the city and its preparation is a secret.

We continue with Tegamino, in Via Boiardo 4, another of the best pizzerias in Milan. The portions are not very big but its flavor is unmistakable. Next on the list is Am, in Corso di Porta Romana 83, a pizzeria that only has six types of pizzas on its menu, all of them Neapolitan, but which one is better. In Via Foscolo 4, next to the Duomo, we find Fresh & Cimmino, a great place where in addition to pizzas pasta dishes are served. Also to be highlighted Meucci, in Via Meravigli 18, totally different from the rest of the pizzerias as it is home to Tuscan pizzas.

The latest recommendations are Coke, located in Vía Pavia 10, the right place for those of us who like Neapolitan pizza and prefer Roman pizza better; Y Willy, in Via Bergamo 1, a pizzeria where you can choose Roman and Neapolitan pizzas, although the latter are the house specialties.
