El UKheer, eyaziwa nangokuthi I-Payasam o I-PayeshUnguswidi ojwayelekile waseNdiya ophekwe nelayisi le-basmati (luhlobo lwelayisi elide okusanhlamvu olutshalwa eNdiya), futhi lisebenzisa ubisi noshukela. Okuningi kokunambitheka kuvela kwezinye izithako ezinjenge: isafroni, i-cardamom, i-pistachios nama-alimondi, anendima ehamba phambili kuzindlela eziningi zokupheka ezahlukahlukene.

I-Kheer yisidlo esibalulekile emikhosini nasemikhosini yamaHindu neyamaSulumane. Igama UKheer ihumusha ngokuthi "ubisi."
