Located in the center of the city, on one side of the Plaza de Bolívar, the Manizales Cathedral It is the tallest religious building in Colombia at 113 meters high. It has an area of ​​2.300 m² and a capacity for 5.000 people.

Another church that steals attention, this time not because of its size, but because of its constructive richness, is the Church of the Immaculate, located next to the traditional Caldas Park. This beautiful building, whose main constructive element is wood, is one of the oldest in the city.

Also in the city center, on Avenida 19 and Calle 18, is the Church of the Augustinians, with its Neoclassical façade but, whose structure is Neo-Gothic. Its construction began in 1.914. In its interior, pointed components prevail, it has a priceless organ brought from Barcelona (Spain), and consists of 3.000 pipes with two hand keyboards and one pedal keyboard.
