New Year's Eve, December 31, is the most magical night in Cuba. Many towns celebrate it with Cuban music, colored fireworks, frozen cocktails and the feeling of carnival in their squares or beaches.
The most important point of Cuba's New Year celebrations is Havana, where people gather in large numbers in its squares and the Malecón Habanero to take pleasure in the fireworks, which are an integral part of the festivities of New Year in Cuba.

And the tradition in Cuba on New Year's Eve is to roast a pig, and at 12:00 throw a bucket of water out the window, to get rid of the bad times. On the other hand, free concerts are sometimes offered on the premises of the city or in the famous «Plaza de la Revolución».
Another detail is that most cities have a 'Casa de la Trova' or 'Casa de la Música', where concerts can be enjoyed.
