If you are in Dublin then much better since the pub culture here is great and that particular party the drinks cost less so that people drink and have more fun. But what typical St. Patrick's drinks can we meet for these dates? Well, many, including the Green Beer.
Beer is undoubtedly the favorite drink of the Irish and the best brands are Guiness and Kilkenny, of course, but some bars add a little green food coloring to the feast of St. Patrick and generate a most original beer. Besides beer there is cider, my best friend. Although tasty and refreshing it has alcohol so it gets drunk anyway. A good brand is the Bulmers. Another popular drink during this Irish holiday is the irish car bombIn clear reference to the not-so-distant past of IRA terrorism: in a small glass you put Irish cream and Irish whiskey. You drink it fast and it's a shot to the stomach.
Finally there is the irish whiskey, a powerful golden elixir, the Bailey's combined with hot chocolate, for example, Irish Coffee combined with whiskey and Frozen leprechaun, made with Bailey's and mint.
