Traveling is synonymous with having breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner away from home. At least for me. That does not mean that I should always sit in a different place, or in one place. Sometimes it's just a matter of standing up, but it's always eating out.
For some time now they say that Galway has become the gastronomic capital of Ireland and that the gastronomic options are numerous. And best of all, you don't have to have a lot of money in your pockets to enjoy Irish cuisine. Here there are reasonable prices in many places so if you go to Galway I recommend that you look because you will find where to eat outside without breaking the budget.
Eat cheap at Glaway? Of course, just point these places:
- Dough Bros: It is a Neapolitan style pizzeria. The huge oven is in full view so you can watch your pizza cook. It is a friendly, simple place that has three floors and an outdoor lounge for hot days. You eat a pizza and a drink for around 10 euros. It is located on Upper Abbeygate Street, 24.
- Boojum Mexican Restaurant: Mexican burritos and tacos are eaten here. There is a variety of tastes and prices and it is a popular place for students, tourists, friends and family. A burrito and a drink are around 9 euros. It is on 1 Spanich Parade Street, near the Spanish Arch and Quay Street.
- Hooked Restaurant: He specializes in fish and seafood and is on Henry Street. It is a very well decorated place, comfortable, with friendly people. Some classic fish & chips is priced at 9 euros.
- Moles: It is a Spanish food place that basically serves tapas at good prices. Croquettes, meatballs, potatoes, chorizo, sangria, wines and even Spanish beers. It is a simple site that is in Woodquay.
