Many films have been filmed in Italy as it is a fantastic place, not only for its history and architectural heritage but also for its culture, art and gastronomy. The latest film to take advantage of these Italian qualities is Eat Pray Love, or Eat, Pray, Eat, a film based on a best seller written by author Elizabeth Gilbert. This film will be released in US theaters on August 13 and stars Julia Roberts.
The first part of the story, Eating, is shot in Rome, which is the city where the protagonist lives, taking cooking classes and discovering the joys of Italian gastronomy.
