How to go from Rome to Naples

train-italian

For go from the city of Rome to the city of Naples you must first approach the terminal station or Rome Termini, the main train station in the capital. Here you have several options but in general the trains either go directly between the two cities without making any changes or stops or there are trains (from 4:25 am to 10:13 pm).

Here are the options:

. Fast and Regional: they are the slowest trains but they are also cheaper. They make the trip in almost 3 hours. Rapid trains are generally second class and there are no reserved seats.

. IC and ICplus (intercity trains): they take just 2 hours, they have first and second class and you can reserve seats. They cost almost twice as much as the previous one and are used by many people.

. ESA or EAfast: these are the Eurostar trains that make the trip in less than 2 hours, they have first and second class in compartments and making a reservation is mandatory. They cost triple but of course, they are very fast. Of course, keep in mind that some Eurostar trains stop at other stations and not at Naples Central.

Rocio takes a train, it's very easy, put on comfortable clothes and ask at a travel agency and don't buy it there. Enter a second one when you see what is convenient for you, do it, take a map to get your bearings, and even if you make many connections, it's easy, I'm 66 years and I did it alone
