Peroni, the great Italian beer

One looks at the map of Europe and recognizes that beer is consumed in most of the countries in this part of the world: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England Ireland. But what happens in Italy with this drink so popular all over the world? Little happens, we could say, because although it is a growing phenomenon, it can never be compared to what happens in neighboring countries. The fact is that Italians are more lovers of wine than of the malt-based drink.

However, they have their own brands and among the most popular is the Peroni beer. This brand was born in Lombardy, in Vigevano, in the middle of the XNUMXth century. It is a beer stock of 4.7% alcohol and at the beginning of its history it was a beer produced by the family. In 1864 Giovanni Peroni moved to Rome, some years before the city finally became the capital of Italy. From the end of the XNUMXth century to the beginning of the XNUMXth, the brand grew and became one of the main beer brands. And so, reinventing himself all the time, he managed to reach the XNUMXst century and sail the seas to other latitudes.

In 2005 the Peroni brand was bought by an English company. One of its best varieties is Blue Ribbon 5% alcohol content.
