On the 7th the festivities begin with a procession in which the statue of the saint is carried throughout the city, on the 8th there is a caravan of floats recreating the history and the miracles of the saint and finally on the 9th that moment is recreated in the that the fishermen return with the bones of Saint Nicholas with a beautiful procession in the sea.

Those who make this procession come out of a raffle that is held before among local fishermen so all the fishermen of Bari want to participate at some time.
