We have already detailed the routes of one of the most beautiful areas in all of Italy. And we are not referring to the fashion capitals such as Rome or Milan, but to southern Italy where there is a route of medieval attractions that are difficult to forget. The first destination of all of them is Bari, the capital of Puglia.
As we have anticipated, Bari is the starting point of a walk that in a few days will end in Otranto. The city of Bari offers an old town that runs along the waterfront facing the beautiful Italian waters, a place where after walking a few blocks we can see the footprints of the Romans and Arabs.
If we continue on our way, in a few minutes we will arrive at the Feria de Levante, an impressive meeting point for artisans who created a fair where we can buy regional articles, clothing, furniture and all kinds of objects from Italy and Europe. The large expanses of coastline with beaches is another of the inevitable places where we can go to admire its beauty and, of course, relax on quiet coasts in front of the sea.
Bari is a very peaceful city, steeped in history. With only two or three days we will be able to know an excellent destination in one of the least promoted regions of Italy.
