Clothing in Morocco

Whenever we travel it is important to keep in mind how to dress. On one side there is traditional and cultural issues That must be respected, but on the other hand, there is the climate factor, which is going to be decisive. As for Morocco, we must keep both things in mind. Clothing is closely linked to the social level but also to religion, and in the case of women, their decency is reflected mainly in their clothing.

That is why our western women are always recommended to be discreet, not showing too much of the body, because in this area it looks very bad. As for the men, the common thing for the locals is to walk with hooded robes called Djellaba.
But what it is not to neglect when it comes to dressing, if we are not getting sick, it is climate. In Morocco it happens that during the summer it is very hot, while in the winter it is the opposite, very cold. There is also a difference between day and night, it is hot under the sun, but cold under the moon and the stars.

That is why you should never forget to bring a coat, even when common sense tells us that Morocco is only hot.
