Norwegian religions and beliefs

Something that is very curious to know is what religion do you belong to? What do you believe in? Questions that we are asked daily and that we answer at the risk of being accepted or singled out.

In Norway, one of the most developed countries in the world, the main church is the National Protestant, which bases its beliefs on the Evangelical Lutheran (to which about 83% of the population belong).

Another 10% go preferably to religious or Christian ceremonies once every four weeks. 5% belong to another type of religiosity (Norwegian Humanist Association, Islam, the Pentecost Movement, the Catholic and Roman Church, the Evangelical and Independent Lutheran Church, the Methodists), and finally 9%, such as that they do not like or believe in anything, because they do not attend any of the above.

Although religion still goes hand in hand with the government, each inhabitant of this country is free to make their own decision regarding their beliefs, so it is the case that some are not devoted to anything.
