Proof of marital status (marriage certificate, children's birth certificate, spouse's death certificate, ration card if applicable).
Livelihoods - Proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Norway. A foreigner who intends to enter the territory of Norway has to attest to the
Embassy or Consulate to apply for a Norwegian visa owning at least NOK 500 that are equivalent to € 53,34. However, this number is not officially fixed and the amount is usually decided on a case-by-case basis.
If you have a job:
- Employment contract
- Current account statement for the last 6 months
- Leave employer permission
- Tax return form (ITR) or Certificate of taxes deducted at source of salary
If you are self-employed:
- A copy of your business license
- Bank statement of the company for the last 6 months
- Tax Declaration (ITR)
If you are a student:
- Proof of enrollment of the active course
- Certificate of no objection from the school or university
If you retired:
- Pension declaration for the last 6 months
If it is applicable:
- Regular income generated by the characteristic test of the last 6 months
* Note: The signed application form must be accompanied by the rest of the mandatory documents mentioned above and delivered personally to the corresponding embassy / consulate or its representative in your country of origin.
In addition to the accompanying necessary general documentation, there should be other additional documents depending on the purpose of your Norwegian visa application.
