A giant finger in Paris

It is said that in the city of Paris you can find absolutely everything that someone never imagined, making specific reference to the different monuments that come to be creations of exceptional artists who have put great creativity in each of their works.

In this way, if you are crossing any of the streets of the city of Paris, do not be surprised to see a statue or monument such as that of "Le Pouce" (which means "the thumb" in Spanish) and that is a very real reproduction of our smallest finger.

Le Pouce is an exceptional work that belongs to César Baldaccini, who abdicated in 1965 on the occasion of an exhibition that was exclusively dedicated to the hands, and this monument of the thumb, being one of the best elements of said exhibition, has been the only one that has remained of this entire event.

The material with which this thumb was made (Le Pouce) is synthetic resin, which, as you can see, has been very well worked to show each of the lines and elements that make up a thumb.

Due to the great realism that this thumb (Le Pouce) has, many of the people who come to the city of Paris try to find this wonderful monument to be photographed in front of it, and thus have a small memory of one of the most fabulous exhibitions that would have existed in Paris.
