Mayan art in Paris

From tomorrow, January 26 to June 10, you can see the exhibition Faces of divinity. Mayan green stone mosaics, which will be housed in the Pinakothek of Paris and that was already exhibited at the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City during 2010.

There are about 100 works by mayan art which includes the famous jade masks that could not be exhibited last year, the year of Mexico in France, as a result of the differences between the two governments in the case of the French Florence Cassez, who was sentenced to sixty years in prison for kidnapping in the Latin American country.
