Going out in Rome (Trastevere)

Although we know Trastevere As a leisure area, Trastevere is also a nightlife area, in fact it is the best known nightlife area in Rome.

Trastevere is a neighborhood with cobbled streets and several squares. For this reason, you can be in the bars or you can even go through their squares or rest in them, or even drink in them.

The leisure offer at night, bars and restaurants, is divided between typical Roman bars, places to go out, old taverns and there is a leisure offer for all budgets.

The main area where the movement meets is Santa Maria in Trastevere, one of the many charming squares in Trastevere, where young people sit on the steps of the church and drink there. They also go to bars, pubs, cafes and venues with live music.

Another area where you can go out is very close to there, between the streets of Campo de´Fiori and Piazza Navona. In which there is also a lot of pubs, bars and discos.

Some bars you can go to are Freni e Frizioni (near Piazza Trilussa), the Antico Caffé Della Pace (near Piazza Navona) and the Stardust Live Jazz Bar (Vicolo dei Renzi) where there is live music. In piazza Trilusa you will find a Friends. To go clubbing I recommend Frizioni and Fredi as there is a good atmosphere.

The best known and most popular nightclub in Rome is Goa (Via Libetta, 13), whose entrance fee is around 30 euros, and where footballers usually hang out.

The night begins with an aperitif, which consists of a small snack accompanied by a mid-afternoon snack, usually accompanied by wine, from 19:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m., and ends at 4:00 a.m. when not before.

The price of the drinks is around 10 euros in a disco and 8 euros in bars.
