Polar world
It is the largest polar bear park, opened in 2009 in Dalarna, in central Sweden. The 41.000-square-meter facility incorporates a large deep-water area, its own snowmaking machinery and room for bears to fish.
Endangered species are raised there and it is part of a larger project for their conservation. Visitors will be able to learn about bears at the park's exhibit venues, amphitheater, and visitor information stations.
Elk safari in Laukkuluspa
Go on a snowmobile tour in the Kiruna desert, northern Sweden. Drive along the Kalix River towards the majestic mountains and experience unique national animals such as reindeer and elk. Åre village is located in central Sweden and is made up of three ski areas; Björnen, they are by (Village son) and Duved. They are staying at the Alpine World Championships in February 2007.
It has a longer runway of 6.5 km and can be reached in 1,5 hours by plane and 8 hours by train from Stockholm
Skiing in Riksgränsen
Riksgränsen is the northly ski resort in Europe offering a wide range of off-piste skiing for beginners as well as professionals. Due to its location above the Arctic Circle you can enjoy summer skiing in the light of the midnight sun until the end of June.
It has 16 tracks and can be reached in 3 hours by plane and 18 hours by train from Stockholm.
Royal Palace in Gamla Stan

With its 608 rooms, the Royal Palace in Gamla Stan, Stockholm is one of the largest in Europe. Part of the Palace was built on the remains of the first, Tre Kronor, which was almost completely destroyed in a fire in 1697.
