Today we have to concentrate on the capital of the state of Styria, the beautiful Graz. It has many interesting places, including churches, museums and different places of interest, but one of the most particular museums is the Hans Gross Museum of Crymonology.
In the year 1912, far and long ago, a guy named Hans gross his dream was fulfilled when the Imperial Criminological Institute was inaugurated within the University of Graz. It had the great honor of being the first of its kind in the world. Gross had been working for nearly twenty years to get criminology recognized as a serious, academic discipline. That is why he earned a place in history as the founder of scientific criminology. He was also the father of a model, of a school, of criminology that allowed similar institutes to begin to be born in the rest of the world.
That's why you can visit the Graz Museum of Criminology. In its rooms you can see objects, photos and documents about all contemporary knowledge about crime and its protagonists.
