Kamakhya Temple

Today we are going to visit the holiest places of Hinduism in India. Let's start the tour in the Kamakhya Temple, temple dedicated to the goddess Śakti, which is located on the Nilachal hill, in the western part of the city of Guwahati, in the state of Assam. It is the main temple of the complex of temples dedicated to the different forms of the goddess Majá Vidiá. It is worth noting that it is not only a Hindu pilgrimage site but also a Tantric site.

ahobilam is a place located in Andhra Pradesh, in Kurnool district. It is one of the main pilgrimage places in the south of the nation as it is home to temples dedicated to Vishnu. According to legend, it is about the place where Narasimha wounded Prahlada and killed the demon Hiranyakashipu.

Bhimashankar It is one of the twelve jyotirlingas or holy places dedicated to Shiva. The Bhimashankar Temple is located in the village of Bhorgiri, in western India.

Chidambaram is a city located in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is considered one of the most important sacred places associated with Shiva and here we find five great temples.

El Ekambaréswarar temple It is one of the Pancha Bhuta Sthalam ('five great temples') associated with the five basic elements in Saivite Hinduism (Shivaism), in this case, the earth. It is located in the city of Kanchipuram, one of the seven sacred cities of India, in the state of Tamil Nadu. The other four temples are Annamalaiyar (Arunachaleswara in Sanskrit), associated with fire; Thiruvanaikaval, associated with water; Chidambaram, associated with space, and Kalahasti, associated with wind. The oldest temple in Kanchipuram, KalashNatha, is also dedicated to Shivá.
