What to see in Marbella, its historic center
Only at first glance, you will soak up its tradition, thanks to the alleys that are quite narrow. This area encompasses the walled part, the Barrio Alto and the Barrio Nuevo. Within this area, we can only make a stop at the Plaza de los Naranjos. It offers us both the Town Hall and the Corregidor's House and of course, the Hermitage of Santiago. The Alcazaba and the walls
The walls that we will find in the city were built back in the 30th century. It was one of the orders of Caliph Abderraman III. The Alcazaba rose more than XNUMX meters above sea level. Which made the views from this point impressive. The entire wall was made up of more than 20 towers who were doing defense work, but today there are only a couple of them standing. In order to enter the city, there were three gates: La Puerta de Ronda, that of Malaga and that of the Sea.

San Pedro Alcántara
In this place we can enjoy some constructions that date from the XNUMXth century. One of them is the Guadaiza Mill, which is an old sugar factory.
