Among the five tallest monuments in Mexico we have to mention in order of importance by virtue of their size:
3- The Christ the Redeemer, Tihuatlán, Veracruz: With a height that ranges between 33 and 35 meters, this figure, very similar to that of Christ the Redeemer of Brazil, opens its arms in a blessing.
The monument, which weighs around 750 tons, was inaugurated on November 3, 2007 after 18 months of intense work.
4- Risen Christ, Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico: North of the famous Jardines del Recuerdo funeral complex, this spectacular image of Christ began to be erected in the mid-80s.
With its more than 30 meters high, the Risen Christ of Jardines del Recuerdo seems to 'be looking' towards the Federal District, which makes it a true watchdog of the northern region of the basin of Mexico.
5- Broken Christ, San José de Gracia, Aguascalientes: This spectacular Broken Christ is, along with its famous San Marcos Fair, one of the highest symbols of the state of Aguascalientes.
We can find it in the town of San José de Gracia, with its 28 meters high that includes the base that supports it. This beautiful image was built on an island located in the center of the Calles Dam and can be accessed by boat transport, which also makes it possible to practice various water sports in addition to admiring the beautiful surroundings and enjoying other tourist options such as restaurants and souvenir shops, under the gaze of the popular Christ.
